Position Summary:

Prime is seeking a highly motivated Associate to support the firm’s business development and investor relations efforts. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with meaningful exposure to existing and prospective investors, active fundraising initiatives and the full range of investor communications. The Associate will work closely with senior members of the Investor Relations team to deliver a high level of service to Prime’s investor base.

The Associate will build toward increasing responsibility over time. Initially, the role will be performed in close partnership with, and with review and guidance from, the Investor Relations team. As the Associate develops knowledge of the firm, funds and investor base, they will take on greater ownership of investor outreach, call preparation and participation, written communications, diligence responses and relationship management.

The right candidate is smart, polished and proactive; comfortable communicating with investors by phone and email; and able to manage a high volume of varied requests. While the Associate will be expected to take initiative and exercise sound judgment, senior team members will provide context, feedback and review, particularly on investor communications, diligence responses, fundraising strategy and new relationship development.

Responsibilities

  • Support, in close coordination with the Investor Relations team, the planning and execution of capital raises, including outreach to existing and prospective investors, meeting preparation, investor follow-up and pipeline management.
  • Assist senior team members in building and maintaining relationships with investors, wealth advisors, consultants, family offices and other prospective capital partners through thoughtful, timely and professional phone and email communication.
  • Participate in investor calls and meetings alongside senior team members; prepare briefing materials, talking points, follow-up communications and next step summaries for senior members of the team.
  • Coordinate and draft responses to investor questions, due diligence questionnaires, requests for proposals and other ad hoc information requests, subject to appropriate review and guidance. Work across investments, asset management, finance, accounting, legal and compliance to gather, verify and synthesize information accurately.
  • Prepare, update and tailor investor materials in support of senior team members and active fundraising initiatives, including pitchbooks, fund presentations, case studies, performance summaries, market updates and other fundraising collateral.
  • Support ongoing investor coverage and relationship-management activities, including quarterly communications, annual meeting materials, capital call and distribution communications, investor portal requests and other relationship-management needs.
  • Maintain organized, current libraries of approved DDQ responses, marketing materials, investor data and firm information to improve the speed, consistency and quality of investor communications.
  • Maintain CRM records, fundraising pipeline reports and investor activity logs; identify relationship trends, outstanding items and opportunities for follow-up.
  • Assist with subscription and closing processes, including coordination of investor documentation, diligence workflows and internal follow-up across service providers.
  • Contribute to a wide range of projects and administrative details in a lean, fast-paced, high-volume environment. No task is too small when it supports an investor, a fundraising process or the broader team. Over time, assume increasing responsibility for investor outreach, pipeline management and investor communications while continuing to work closely with the broader Investor Relations team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, real estate, communications or a related field.
  • Two to three years of relevant experience in investor relations, business development, capital formation, placement agency, private equity, real estate, investment banking, wealth management or another investor-facing financial services role.
  • Strong interest in private markets and real estate investing; familiarity with private fund structures, fundraising processes and performance metrics is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise and accurate responses to sophisticated investor questions.
  • Confident, professional and thoughtful in direct investor interactions by phone, email and in person, with strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with the ability to prioritize competing requests, manage deadlines and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with CRM, investor portal, data room or project-management tools is a plus.
  • Proactive, intellectually curious, responsive to feedback and eager to learn. The ideal candidate is resourceful, collaborative and willing to roll up their sleeves to support the team wherever needed.
