Position Overview 

Reporting to the firm’s Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, this position will provide key support for day to day legal and compliance issues and work closely with various members of the Legal and Compliance Department and senior management.  

Responsibilities

• Assisting with legal matters, including corporate entity housekeeping, regulatory/consumer agency inquiries, and litigation support
• Drafting, reviewing and maintaining policies, standard contracts and various other documentation
• Acting as a resource to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Prime Group policies and procedures
• Assisting with the management of Prime Group’s vendor due diligence program, including the preparation of vendor due diligence analyses and memoranda
• Completing various legal research projects
• Monitoring for developments in applicable legislation, regulation, and industry standards
• Maintaining files for Legal and Compliance Department
• Perform ad hoc administrative and operational tasks to support the Legal and Compliance teams

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 3+ years experience as a paralegal (or equivalent position) at a leading law firm or in a corporate legal department
• Experience within a compliance setting preferred but not required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Word, and Lexis
• Experience in contact negotiation and review
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills
• Track record of establishing solid relationships, polished and highly personable
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial-minded environment

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
